About 6 months: Get a HIV nucleic acid test in about 6 months, if it is negative then, you would be free, provided there have been no other exposure to HIV.

8 days ago, I felt I got exposed to HIV virus. The following day, I took PEP from a clinic after being tested negative. Now, 6 days later I had unprotected sex with my gf, is it possible I could have transmitted the virus to her? what do you advise?
