Was he treated?: Was your partner also treated? If not then you have likely reacquired the infection. Both partners should be treated and then avoid intercourse for 2 weeks. I generally recommend couples get retested so we can be sure it is gone but that is not necessarily the standard of care per the CDC guidelines.

Metronidazole.75% was used to treat Pt thick clear vaginal discharge with back pain and used for a week prescribed by the doctor. Her symptoms stopped. However 3 weeks later symptoms are showing again. Any suggestions on what to do next? Thank you!
