Should ask: Radical hysterectomies are normally done for cervical or other cancers. Confirm with your surgeon that you had a "radical" hysterectomy and that you are using that term correctly. Usually one would only take Estrogen for hormone replacement therapy after a hysterectomy with removal of the ovaries. Contact your surgeon to clarify the reason for using a product containing Estrogen and Progesterone
