I'm wondering if your allergic reactions can go away, when i was 14 i went to a party and drank half a bottle of wine and are alot of prawns, about 4-5 hours later i broke out in hives and blacked out. since then i have never eaten more then 1 or 2 praw

Not Allergic: If you can eat prawns now then you are not allergic. A true IgE-mediated allergy will manifest whether you eat one prawn or 6 prawns. For clarification see an Allergist to determine your risk. Also, allergic reaction to foods are immediate, occurring within minutes to 2 hrs. A reaction 5 hrs later likely unrelated. Could have been the half bottle of wine you drank.
