Eczema: Sounds like a classic case of atopic dermatitis or eczema. See an Allergist or Dermatologist to confirm and receive appropriate treatment. Poorly controlled eczema can cause elevated serum IgE levels. If you have other atopic conditions like allergic rhinitis this can also contribute. Topical steroid creams are helpful for patches, antihistamines for itching.
