Floaters: these are referred to as vitreous floaters.they are due to degenerative changes in the vitreous gel of the eyes. They are usually harmless and usually become less noticeable with time. If accompanied by persistent lightning streaks,loss of peripheral vision or the sudden occurance of many new floaters a visit to your ophthalmologist is indicated.
