Thyroid: Thyroid disorders do affect hair quality but I am not sure about premature grayness. An endocrinologist or thyroidologist Is best qualified to advise and treat you. In some matters about hair abnormalities a dermatologist can evaluate and advise you,also.

You want: to see an expert, an endocrinologist. This would be the best way to answer your question. Perhaps a dermatologist can help also. But endocrinology is almost a must. Good luck
