Supportive care: Osteopetrosis (so called marble bone disease) inherited either recessive or dominant.Dense sclerotic bones.Osteopet. tarda later in life and usually asymptomatic.Arthritis and fractures can occur.Congenital forms, lethal requiring bone marrow transplants and some forms in children less severe with partial bone involvement.Treatment of tarda forms supportive.May need imaging to define fracture.
