A member asked:

Is there a disorder that causes a broken jaw/misalignment as a child and possibly other bone issues like hip dysplasia? a congenital issue?

Maybe: There are some congenital bone diseases that cause weak bones, but you would typically know about such a disease soon after you are born. It is best to discuss this with your physician who is more familiar with the particular aspects of your medical history.

Possibly: Check out osteogenesis imperfecta. Although there are other possibilities, if there is a familial history of these issues this is worth considering.
