Marble bone disease: This is also known as osteopetrosis - it is inherited and causes abnormal hardening of bone resulting in fractures etc.. It usually involves more than just the jaw. Managemnet has to be management of Pain with various pain medications - other iptions may involve Steroids, Vit D etc.. This assumes that the others diagnoses have been ruled out like Pagets disease, Lead/Fluoride/Beryllium toxicity-
