A member asked:

Platelet = 144,000 ( lab ref = 130,000 - 400,000) & wbc = 3.5 (lab ref = 4.2 -10.8). can this indicate cirrhosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why do you ask?: Your platelets are fine. Which are low -- your lymphocytes, your neutrophils, or neither? Isolated neutropenia without other signs of illness isn't going to be cirrhosis, and often it's "just you". Truth be told, Dan, it's to your credit that you wrote us, and you owe it to yourself and those around you to talk with your physician about why you're concerned about your liver. Best wishes.
