Partnership: Psychotherapy is an interpersonal experience between yourself and your therapist; it is a partnership. The therapist listens to whatever it is that is on your mind, and with empathic, thoughtful questioning over time assists you in being able to experience yourself and the external environment differently than prior to coming to therapy. This partnership canbe experienced with patients of all ages

Have them consider participating in senior activities that allow them to stay active. Most have evolved to include programs that lick them up, feed them, get them involved with arts and crafts and even do low impact exercises. Having a reason to get up every morning is a powerful tool to improve their mental health without doctors or medications.
