Sever’s disease is a condition that affects adolescents and is more common in boys compared to girls. I notice that you are 50 yo and if u have been diagnosed with Sever’s disease, I recommend you get a second opinion. Sever’s affects the unfused apophysis of the calcaneus (this growth center is located at the posterior or back portion of the bone) or heel. The child will experience heel pain
