A member asked:

What to do if i usually get heartburn off of most foods. how does this affect my health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is chronic condit: It is the acid in your stomach not the food which is causing you the problem. You will need to see a doctor if possible. Otherwise look for a good antacid and keep it at home for use as needed. You can try liquid: mylanta or gelusil or take tables like zantac/ Pepcid (famotidine) or prilosec. Try and see which one works best and then use it as needed.
