Right rib pain: Many things can cause right rib pain with shortness of breath, such as pneumonia or other causes of infection/inflammation; lung, mediastinal or rib tumors, pulmonary artery embolus (life-threatening), rib fracture or focal trauma. I recommend a visit to your doctor or to the ER.
