Accomodation: Damage is a strong word. There won't be any permanent change to your eyesight. Prolonged up close work can cause the muscles in your eye to spasm and temporarily change your prescription. Sometimes you have to take a break for days to weeks to allow to muscles to relax again. Some eye drops can speed this up. The vision capturing structures of your eye will be unaffected.
