Irregular bleeding at 19 is not uncommon. It is usually related to hormonal fluctuations involving puberty. If you are concerned, discuss it with your doctor when you have your annual physical. They can measure levels of hormone in your blood, and make sure your reproductive organs are normal. If you are sexually active, make sure to get tested for STD's and get a pap smear.
