A member asked:

How long should teenagers nap for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sleep: If teenagers get adequate sleep at night of 8-10 hours then they should not need to nap during the day on a regular basis. If there is a current illness that can cause excessive lethargy or fatigue then napping may be required.
