Depends on where: you are going in India, what you will eat,etc. Cholera, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Japanese encephalitis , Encephalitis, Rabies, Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Avian Flu, Chikungunya fever, Dengue fever & Zika virus are potential risks. Zika is considered a risk to pregnant women.

Several: I will list these 1 Malaria 2Dengui Fever 3Typhoid Fever 4 Hepatitis A 5 E Coli Gastroenteritis 6 Japanese Encephalitis rather rare Commonest is Malaria and you can take preventive meds.Second commonest is E Coli Gstroentritis from water,so drink boiled water or reputable bottled water.Mosquito repellent is adviced
