Not at all: A hernia of the abdominal wall is an actual hole through which abdominal contents can protrude. The only way to fix it is with a surgical procedure. The one exception is a belly button hernia in children. These usually go away by age 4-5, but if persistent, will only get better with an operation. Hope this helps!
