Yes, but...: An asthma patient can participate in any sport activity as long as their condition is under control. Be aware that the chlorine that is used in pools can turn into gas form bubbling of the water's surface.(worse on sunny day) Chlorine gas can trigger lung irritation in anyone and someone with unstable asthma could experience a chlorine triggered event.
