Maybe - maybe not: It depends on the type you have. Exercise can strengthen the muscles about the knee and good muscle tine is good for knee arthritis. If you have knee damage then this impact loading can make the arthritis worse. You need to discuss your arthritis with your physician and maybe see a rheumatologist or an orthopedic surgeon.
