Anything is possible: But unlikely, most times second case of Mono is prob a relapse from the first time around. But as one is involved in medicine for some time--anything is possible, even if improbable

Yes: Mono is the lay term for an illness marked by elevated monocytes in the blood.80%+ of mono is triggered by the EB virus, leaving about 20% split between several other agents. EB mono will give you immunity to EB mono, but you could become infected by one of the others.The intensity of the process may not be as intense, but it could certainly make you sick.
