Do i need to take a few weeks of work to recover from having surgery on both hands?

Maybe.: Much will depend on exactly what procedures are being performed, what your restrictions will be afterwards, and what kind of work you do. Therefore, your hand surgeon will be in the best position to answer your questions precisely. Best wishes.

Probably: The lenght of time off work depends somewhat on the type of job you have. Surgery on both hands is very limiting, even for basic tasks. You will likely need at least 2 weeks off, maybe more depending on the type of surgey and your job functions.
