I have crohn's colitis. last 10-12 wks coccyx is so painful to sit on and to stand from sitting it's unbearably painful. could there be a connection ?

Probably Not: Cohn's colitis generally does not affect the RECTUM which is the portion of the bowel near the coccyx. If you have not had any trauma to the area, I would check this out with your Primary Care Provider rather than your Gastroenterologist!! Hope this helps! Dr Z
