Same or different?: Rash same or different than his eczema, and if so, how? Eczema, or atopic dermatitis is a chronic, relapsing rash by definition. It will spontaneously flare on its own as well as flare from triggers varying from environmental changes, stress, and potentially food allergy. Seek an allergist to identify such porential triggers.
