Knee pain: meniscal tear cause knee pain and other knee symtoms including. knee pain, swelling, locking, not straitening all the way. The knee giving out, feeling unstable, like it won't support you. Tests include Xray, MRI. You may need arthroscopy.. Treatment : resting the knee. Raise the above level of your heart, Ice pack. Using crutches, Knee brace. Pain medication. Exercise.
