A member asked:

How much tine should i have off from work, when i have severe painful osteoarthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: osteoarthritis by itself is not a reason to miss work. People with arthritis can work on a daily basis. If you have an impairment, your physician can help clarify. I do not put people out of work solely on the basis of us to arthritis. It depends where it is, what the issues are, but just because you have osteoarthritis does not lead to it not working
