What is the best way to treat naturally severe osteoarthritis in left hip?

If routine anti-inflammatory or pain medications (e.g., NSAIDS like ibuprofen and related drugs or acetaminophen) aren't helping much, a steroid injection into the hip might provide temporary relief; or, perhaps more likely, hip replacement should be considered. See an orthopedist, ideally one who specializes in hip surgery. Good luck.
