Yes, but reverse it: One reverses fatty liver by eating fewer calories and exercising to burn off stored fat. Also, stop eating sugar, or only eat small amounts of sugar on special occasions. Sugar is bad stuff. After stopping sugar, one can switch refined starches to whole grain carbs... but eat less carbs overall. That means one's diet has lean protein and healthier fats like nuts and olive oil (but watch calories).
