Sofinox-No: Creams and ointments will not help with pitted scars for the most part. If the scar is hyperpigmented then hydroquinone may be an option if your skin is fair. These areas are also difficult to fill as well and usually result in a "doughnut" effect around the central aspect. Microneedling over several sessions has been shown to improve scars from chicken pox and other lesions like acne.
