Assuming: that the transvaginal dating confirms 7 weeks, a heartbeat should be detected in a normal pregnancy. If it is 6 weeks, a heartbeat may or may not be detected, and if it is 5 weeks or less, probably won't be detected even in a normal pregnancy. This is also assuming that the gestation is otherwise normal in appearance.
