Sleep journal : List your activities, diet, bedtime, time to sleep onset, night-waking & AM wake time for your doctor to determine risk factors for sleep apnea (obesity, family history, etc.), anxiety/depression & sleep disorders. If you're healthy & assiduous sleep hygiene for at least 30 days doesn't help, you may need an overnight sleep study. See www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/docs/Info-sleep%20hygiene.pdf.
