Rest the tendon.: If you have Achilles tendinitis or shin splints you are going to have to rest so the tendon can repair. It might take longer than you think. It might be something else. If resting it, not running, doesn't help after a week then see your doctor. It can take a long time to heal. Stretches slowly may help.
