A member asked:

On high blood pressure, are there other foods that can cause blood pressure spikes like starches or grains?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Salt: Salt does cause fluid retention and therefore increases blood pressure. Very low blood sugar can cause release of adrenaline which raises blood pressure, other than that, I do not know of any interaction with particular foods.
