No: Steroids such as the one in tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) can cause weight gain,. In eyedrop form, this is highly unlikely to occur due to the minimal absorption of the steroid into the blood stream. Also tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) should not be used for extended periods of time, and this short exposure also makes weight gain unlikely.
