Combo v. Antibiotic: TobraDex™ is a combination amino glycoside antibiotic & dexamethasone, a steroid, whereas Tobrex™ is just the amino glycoside. Both are used to treat infections, but the combo agent maybe employed to control associated inflammation in a variety of ocular diseases.
