A member asked:

Hello doctorall of my symptoms overlap both conditions. bpd and bipolar together is it possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is possible.: While it is possible to have both BPD and Bipolar Disorder at the same time, psychiatric diagnosis is often not very accurate. Rather than focus on what your diagnosis is, I would focus upon the specific symptoms you find most troubling and the psychiatric and psychotherapy approaches that alleviate them best. Consult a mental health specialist.
