Bpd vs bpd2: Bpd 2 has a tendency to manifest more severe depressive episodes where antidepressants work for a short time then wear off. Anxiety with racing thoughts during the depressed phase seems to dominate in bod 2 such as racing thoughts causing insomnia. Activation syndrome described as possible suicidality precursors during antidepressant treatment is predominant in bpd2 takeshima et al 2013.
