Is there any way to get keloids just from a specific skin trauma?

Yes: Keloids are an exuberant scarring response that is a characteristic of the person who develops them. They can develop from any kind of skin injury.

Unfortunately, those individuals, usually of darker skin tone, who are prone to keloid formation will get keloids following trauma to the skin. Specific areas such as the ears, chest, back, and shoulders have a higher incidence of keloid formation but I have seen keloids just about anywhere that the skin is traumatized.
