What does her OB say: Long flights can be very risky. Unless there is no other option, it's best she NOT fly until she is about a month post partum. The significant risks of developing a deep vein clot, preterm labor, bleeding and placental abruption, could be life threatening to her and the baby. Unless she is in a place w/out doctors & needs to fly 4OB the risk is not worth the benefit. Maybe family can fly 2 her?
