Hi there. what's the difference between the colon, the bowel and the large intestine? they all appear to be the same long tube. confused!

Bowel: the colon is the same as the large intestine which includes the ascending colon, transverse colon and descending colon and sigmoid colon .Bowel includes the small bowel or small intestine and large bowel or large intestine.
