Just recently the top of my feet are starting to get a burning feeling as if they were out in the sun. this is worsend by wearing shoes.

Do you have: any redness in the area? Does the burning sensation travel down your toes? I would have it checked out and see what it could be. It could nerve entrapment, although the site is unusual, but it could also be skin issue. An examination by a podiatrist is a good place to start.
