See your doctor: Alcohol has many significant effects on increasing the potential for clotting disorders, ranging from unusual sensitivity to platelet function, to liver impairment that causes decreased clotting factors. In addition, I am concerned that since you apparently noticed this connection, you have continued to drink alcohol. Continuing alcohol use in the face of adverse effects is a troubling sign.
