A member asked:

Can dysautonomia cause tachycardia (up to 185) and lightheadedness after eating heavier meals?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not normally: Tachycardia is not normally associated with meals. Dysautonomia related to digestion and eating is bloating, indigestion, and intolerance of larger meals. Tachycardia in dysautonomia is more often related to standing after lying down - orthostatic hypotension.
