On prednisone 20mg for ctd &dysautonomia flare. why might prednisone resolve lightheadedness.when not on it, i wake up lightheaded&fast hr lasts days?

You may be hypo-BP!: Sounds like hypotension, light headed with rapid heart rate. Prednisone does cause fluid retention and can raise bp, thus eliminating your symptoms. I don't like the high dose of Prednisone you are on. You my do well with flurinef and a lower Prednisone dose!
