More information: Vit D deficiency and high cholesterol can usually be easily corrected although there is no link to miscarriage or fetal malformation because of these issues. As for the connective tissue disease, you will have to be more specific about this (big difference such as lupus vs rheumatoid ) At age 45, there will likely be more complications. I urge you to consult a rheumatologist.

Lots of obstacles!: First, it is actually quite difficult to get pregnant naturally at age 45. Fertility has waned, and egg quality is such that, unfortunately, miscarriage is common. Certainly vitamin D def can be treated; most cholesterol-lowering medications are not safe in pregnancy. The biggest issue is the immune system concerns with CT disease. Consult a high risk pregnancy specialist for pre-natal counseling.
