Pain Control: Findings of Osgood-Schlatter is tenderness of the soft tissue or bony prominence of the tibial tubercle. Or extending the knee against resistance, stressing quadriceps or squatting with knee in full flexion. Therapy includes control of pain and swelling by ice pack, NSAIDS 3 to 4 days and wearing protective pad. Activity continuation.Consult sport specialist if pain persistent more than 3 months.
