I have a blocked ear for 2 months. had sinus inf. initially then ear inf. got worse after ear inf. ent wants to put a tube in i'm worried i'm 58 ?

Nothing to worry: You have fluid behind the ear drum and that did not clear with medical treatment Placement of tube is a safe in office procedure and it will drain the fluid and relieve your symptoms and tubes will eventually fall out; Discuss with your ENT and have it done if that will make you feel better
