Dr. John Chiu answered

Multi-prong: (1)Moderation in food intake cutting down on carb. Don't eat out too often. No sugar drinks. (2)Moderation in exercise, 3-4x week x60mins including aerobic and weight training. (3)Walk whenever you can (get a pedometer). Make sure to check with doctor to rule out medical causes for your weight. Fad diets cannot maintain the weight loss in the long term. It will not be easy but doable.
